Get ready for Saturday Night Space Opera, a recurring scifi game event, kicking off with a Rad Astra mini campaign! Our first session is next Saturday, January 3rd at 6:00 p.m. The game will pick up every first Saturday of the month, from 6 to close. Character templates will be provided, but you should plan on bringing your own dice, writing utensils and scratch paper (more info here).

Play Rad Astra at Con of the North!

I'll be running a Rad Astra game at Con of the North, which takes place the second weekend in February. I'm looking for six players to go nuts in a short, but power-packed 2-hour adventure. Here's the description:

RAD ASTRA: Gonzo, Space Adventure!
Pack your ray blaster, charge your laser sword and take off on a far-out, interstellar adventure! Get set for a rules-light, mash-up of sci-fi B-movies, 70s space opera TV, and Bronze Age comics. You're the galaxy's last hope on a do-or-die mission against a horde of savage space vikings, alien astrosassins, and sinister space wizards! Your swashbuckling, Saturday night space opera is here baby!   

Pre-gen character templates based on the standard X-plorers classes (Soldier, Scout, Technician, and Scientist) will be supplied so we get straight to the good stuff. The game is set for 6:00 p.m., Saturday, the 14th. If that sounds like something you'd like to play, come join us! 

Con of the North 2015 is February 13-15 at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West.

OPTIONAL CLASS: SPACE RANGER

The Space Ranger was a multi-class option I created for X-plorers (non-specific to this setting) but could easily be dropped into Rad Astra. Here's the original posts on my regular blog. Be ware of spoilers that may creep around there though!
